Sasha nodded back and he was so relieved that Avery didn't think he was some horrible cad trying to get into his pants. He placed his plate down as well and settled back into the sofa.
The movie was cheesy, the type that was trying so desperately to be serious that it was just a mess of over acting and outlandish scenarios. It was very funny though and a quarter in he was laughing so much he had tears in his eyes.

Avery couldn't help but smile softly at Sasha's blush and how nervous he had suddenly become. "No, no it's fine, don't sweat it." With a nod, he gestured towards the tv. "I should be sorry, you invite me over to watch a movie and I unintentionally embarrass you..." He leaned forward and set his plate on the table. "We can change the subject and watch the movie..."

Sasha blushed, "Oh...I," he really didn't know what to say at that so he just let out a nervous laugh, "I'm flattered, but he's really silly not to accept one of your passes. I would have jumped all over that," then he realized what he said and just how forward that was and his blush deepened, "Oh dear I am so sorry..."

"Oh, thank you for the compliment, but no..." he shook his head. "No, Mikel is straight...Or so he says." Giving Sasha a wry smile he sipped at his beer again. "No, I meant he was jealous of me going out with you I think he's seen you around enough to start a little crush on you." Avery started on his pizza with a small bite and chewed it thoughtfully. "I think I might have tried a drunken pass at him every now and then but you must be his type more so than I am." He laughed a little.

Sasha's brows rose, "Why? Does he have a crush on you?" He took the DVD back and started to unwrap it, "I couldn't blame him...you are awfully cute," he smiled at him then stood and put the movie in and started it, "Have you and him...you know...been together before?"

Avery glanced at the case of the DVD and shrugged. the movie wasn't one he recognized. "They gave me a few jabs but they're always giving me shit." He replied and took a sip of his beer, smiling up at Sasha. "It's nothing new, they're always giving me some sort of shit...we joke around all the time and so I do my fare share too." He thought a minute. "I think Mikel was jealous." he gave Sasha a sly smile.

"I have no clue," Sasha leaned over and grabbed his backpack off the floor, "It was five bucks," he chuckled then reaching in he pulled out the DVD, "Looks like some car chase, machine gun, police flick. Bunch of guys proving they have a pair and all that," he handed the case to Avery, "Not normally my thing, but if it's well done then it might be worth the five bucks, if not then it might be worth the laughs," he grinned at him, "So, what did your roommates think about you coming over to my place?"

Avery nodded. "One downside to renting an apartment is most places are picky about how you decorate..." He mentioned and followed him over to the couch. He sat down and sipped at his beer. "Which movie did you get?"

"Oh thanks," Sasha took the beer and placed it on the counter. He started to lay slices on the plates, "Yeah, I'm not a professional or anything, but I wanted the place to look good. I hate having the white walls, I want to get my own place some day. A condo. So I can paint and knock out walls and stuff," he chuckled then handed Avery his plate, "Wanna watch a movie while we eat? I got a new one, some old action flick," he walked over to the couch with his pizza and beer.

Avery nodded. "Alright, well I'll be right back." He said before heading out the door again. He hurried over and grabbed a beer for himself and one for Sasha as well, earning a jab from Mikel who had arrived home and heard from Noah what Avery's plans for the night were. He came back and walked in without knocking this time, heading to the kitchen where Sasha was still. "here...Got one for you in case you wanted one too..." He said softly with a smile and he set it on the counter next to him before leaning up against it, watching him as he opened the top on his. "I like how you've decorated your place by the way." he commented and took another glance around, sipping at his beer. "It's really...sweet..." After a pause he added, "as in, cute...not 'cool'" he chuckled. "I like it a lot."

"Honestly, I sort of slacked off the rest of the day," Sasha looked a bit sheepish, then the timer went off for the pizza, "come in have a seat!" He turned and made his way over to the oven, "I hope you like pepperoni, that was all I had. I have some water and some soda in the fridge. If you want beer you gotta run back over to your place. I don't keep any in the house," he pulled down two plates then started to cut the pizza. He didn't have a cutter so he just used a regular knife.

((Thanks :D))

Avery looked around the apartment, noticing how different the feel of it was despite the fact that it was architecturally the same as his and the others in the complex. "You really hit the nail on the head...I was actually thinking I should have grabbed beer from my fridge before coming over..." He chuckled a little. "It was nice...I just sorted records all day, so it wasn't too exciting but it was better than nothing. What about you?" He had an awful habit of standing around when visiting someone for the first time, mainly out of courtesy until they sat down as well.

Post

((Adorable post!))

Sasha jumped a little at the knock. He waved his hands over his toes, even though he was sure they were dry, before getting up and rushing towards the door. He pulled it open with a large grin, "Avery!" He stepped back so the other could come in, "I am so glad you were able to keep our date! I know you work late sometimes," he closed the door then said, "I have a pizza in the oven if you are hungry and some snacks on the counter and in the ice box," he said it casually, like he didn't worry and fuss over if he got the right things or not, "So, how was your day?" He was still smiling.

Avery hurried home after his shift. He walked into the front door of his apartment and threw a bag of things he'd gotten at the music store onto a chair before walking towards the kitchen. Noah poked his head out of the bathroom. "Hey Avery."
"Yo." he replied, getting a glass of water. "How're you?"
"Good. Had a fucking test today that I think I blew...you?"
Avery grinned from the kitchen and took a drink of water. "Fantastic. Had a date with that kid a few doors down, Sasha."
"Who?"
Avery set the glass down and headed towards his room. "Blond kid...long hair, kind of feminine..." He started changing his shirt, wishing he had time to maybe shower but he figured he didn't smell bad so he would be okay.
"Oh, Yeah I've seen him around school too." Noah replied. Avery left his room and headed for the front door. "Where're you going now?"
"His place. we're gonna watch some movies or something tonight." He replied, opening the door.
"...or something."
"Shut it, dick." Avery called back, laughing a little as he shut the door and headed for Sasha's place. He knocked and ran his fingers through his hair, hoping it didn't look awful.

Sasha was pleased, he was able to get chips and dip and mixed nuts. He got some fruit in case Avery ate healthy and some bottled waters. They had all fit in his backpack and he even had room to go to the dollar store and pick up a pack of cards and an action DVD.
Now back at home he took a shower and changed into purple and black striped pajama pants and a tight black tank. He left his hair down and it was wavy from being braided all day. He turned on his radio and put a pizza in the oven then sat on his couch and started to paint his toe nails purple to match his pants as he waited for Avery to stop by.
